- CS4HS: Carnegie Mellon
This is a national-audience version of the CS4HS: Washington workshop. It is also Google-sponsored, and hosted by Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. It is targeting teachers of high school computer science (the Washington workshop more broadly targets teachers of high school math and science, but is limited geographically to the Pacific Northwest).
- CS4HS: UCLA
This is another national-audience version of the CS4HS: Washington workshop. It is sponsored by Google and hosted by UCLA, targeting teachers of high school computer science (again, the Washington workshop targets a broader set of teachers of high school math and science, but only in the Pacific Northwest region).
- CS Unplugged (Tim Bell)
CS Unplugged is a fantastic set of classroom-ready modules that introduce basic
computer science concepts to high school students in a fun, hands-on, computer-free way.
Tim Bell, an author of the CS Unplugged lessons, has collaborated with CS4HS/cs4hs organizers at all 3 sites to bring his material to these workshops.
